If you want to know where to meet singles in your 30s, then you need first to put yourself in a mature mindset. If you are over 30 trying to meet single men at an 18 and up club on a college campus, then this is problem number one. You are at the wrong place, and you have the wrong mindset on where to meet men. For now, I am going to give you ideas on where all you single ladies can meet single men in your 30s. NOT just to meet singles, but also some productive men and good quality men. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~#1 Happy Hour. I feel like I always say this in every one of my blogs when it comes to meeting good quality men. Just go to happy hour, because happy hour tends to be one of those things you do as you mature. Pick a nice restaurant or a happy hour in the business district. To make sure that you are more likely to run into professionals and men who are more established in their careers. Increasing the likelihood that you will run into 30 something-year-old men. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~#2 Hobbies. If you want to meet men who are in their 30s, then try hobbies that are geared to 30-year-old people. Do not join a Pokemon Go meetup and then wonder why everyone there is under the age of 25. That is because you are choosing the wrong hobby. Try going to art galleries or events. Try going to charities. Try joining a 30 plus meet up that is gear toward singles. Try traveling more. Forgo the spring break trip to Cancun and go to destinations with a more versatile and mature crowd. Try going to empowerment and business seminars. Cultural events or sporting events. I always feel that it is important to have hobbies and goals of your own because it shows that you have your life together and when you have your life together you attract higher quality men. I remember when I went to a New Years Event in DC (see my blog here), and it was more of a formal event. The fact of the matter is that events or even parties where you have to get more dressed up tend to attract an older crowd. Most of these events have tickets that you have to pay for (that a 20 something-year-old is not going to pay for) and 30 and up people tend to gravitate to events that are more formal. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #4 Alumni Parties. When you think of the world alumni that means that typically someone has graduated from a college or was in a fraternity and now they have an alumni party. Hence why the men in there tend to be 30 plus. Try the following ideas: Alumni college parties (It could be your alma mater or someone else’s.) Alumni fraternity parties Alumni football or basketball watching parties. If a college team is good at a sport, then most of the alumni will have a party. For example, I got my BS degree at VCU, and they are good at basketball. There are times where they make the NCAA tournament, and there are TONS of alumni parties to watch these games. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #5 At Work. Now I must warn you to be careful at work. BE SO CAREFUL. Do not just talk to every man at work you see trying to date them because then you may get a bad reputation. You can read my blog here on how to date someone at work. BUT many people do find marriage and long-term relationships at work. You already have a leg at work by knowing what the man does and how he has as a person. Since you see them at work in some capacity, it is better than actually meeting and getting to know someone from scratch. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #6 Live Music Events. Once again this can be vague so think of a particular type of live music event. Think of music that 30 plus-year-old men want to listen to. Think Jazz club or even oldie but goodie music artist type concerts. You are much more likely to meet 30 plus men in these types of environments. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #7 Dog parks. I am not a huge fan of dogs, but I understand that many people are. People bring their dogs to work, and also people bring their dogs to dog parks. Some of these dog parks are even better than human children parks. So if you have a dog, then you may want to hit up a well known and nice dog park to meet 30 something single men. Where to meet singles in your 30s ~ #8 Gym. There are men of all ages who love to work out, and the gym could be an original way to meet men.
