Six casinos host major events from the end of May through July. Three have announced schedules, while three others have set dates but have not released details. Here is a breakdown of the different poker rooms with tournament series this summer. The events listed below are major ones, often with large buy-ins and fields. Many Las Vegas poker rooms that do not offer poker tournament series still have the daily schedule held year-round with smaller buy-ins. However, cash game demand and dealer shortages may affect tournaments, leading to cancellations during peak hours. Poker rooms will reopen at Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood just before the World Series of Poker starts. This will add capacity this summer. Planet Hollywood’s poker room will host the Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker just before the summer events start. World Series of Poker Horseshoe. Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas host the 56th World Series of Poker from May 27 to July 16, 2025. A wide variety of games will be offered. Most are no-limit Texas hold’em. Others are Omaha, Omaha hi/lo, seven card stud, seven card stud hi/lo, dealer’s choice, HORSE, 2-7 triple draw, and badugi. Buy-ins range from $300 to $250,000. Several daily no-limit hold’em tournaments will also be available. There are many satellites for WSOP events. These are both live and on the World Series of Poker site. You can play these anywhere in Nevada or New Jersey. A full list of events and times is here. Venetian DeepStack Championship Poker Series. Venetian has the DeepStack Championship Poker Series from May 19 to July 31. Most events start at 11am or 6pm. There are about two events per day during the series. At least $21 million is guaranteed throughout the Venetian DeepStack Championship Series. Most games are no-limit hold’em. Big O, pot limit Omaha, and limit Omaha hi/lo are also available. Buy-ins range from $200 to $5000. The full list of tournaments is here. Wynn Summer Classic. Wynn and Encore host the Wynn Summer Classic from May 21 through July 14. Many events have a noon start time, with some 11am and 6pm starts. Most games are no-limit hold’em. TORSE, triple draw, limit Omaha hi/lo, five-card pot limit Omaha, and limit hold’em are among the games offered. The buy-ins range from $600 to $25,800. The Wynn Summer Classic has $40 million in total guarantees, including $10 million for the $10,400 Summer Championship. More details are available here. Aria Poker Classic. The Aria poker room will host the Aria Poker Classic this summer. The schedule is not yet announced. Golden Nugget Grand Poker Series. The Golden Nugget poker room has the Grand Poker Series this summer. Buy-ins for Golden Nugget events typically range from $130 to $1,100. The schedule is not yet announced. Orleans Summer Open. The Orleans poker room will hold a summer series from May 23 to July 13. The schedule has not yet been announced, but games include Texas hold’em, Omaha, Omaha hi/lo, and mixed games.
